COMPANY PROFILE & HISTORY
MF Services was created to provide support to the family office, three
investment companies and three operating Foundations.
POSITION SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS
Summary: This position will serve as Controller for MF Services
(including all Foundations) and Controller for Silverpoint Investment.
Job description:
*Responsible for all accounting and finance activities and financial
statement preparation, as related to operations of these two
companies, their subsidiaries and other affiliates including
processing for all financial/accounting transactions, billings and
fixed assets.
*Responsible for standardizing accounting systems including internal
controls, report writing and policies.
*Responsible for cash management and cash flow forecasting.
*Responsible for compiling family members' financial statements and
incorporating family members' and family trusts' share of income from
operation of the companies, their subsidiaries and affiliates.
*Manage relationships with outside parties including tax advisors and
banking professionals.
*Coordinate development and transfer of financial information with
Controllers at Falcon Investment Management and Stoneridge Capital
Partners.
*Coordinate tax planning and implementation with outside accounting
firm and estate planning with outside counsel.
*In conjunction with HR coordinate benefit and retirement management
services.
*Responsible for financial analysis regarding acquisitions, existing
services, investment performance and other adhoc as requested by
executive management.
*Assist the senior management team in making decision regarding
financing and operational issues.
*Coordination of office data processing with HR/Office manager.
*Supervise accounting staff personnel.
