POSITION PURPOSE:
Perform general accounting, maintenance of Corporate general ledger,
and miscellaneous financial reporting for Corporate Finance.
FINANCE DIMENSIONS:
Type of Accounting Systems: MAS 200
Types Financial Software: MPC
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports To: Corporate Accounting Supervisor
Peers: Other Staff Accountants
Primary Working Relationships: Corporate Finance Staff, Brookfield
Accounting Staff, and other Corporate departments.
Direct Reports: None
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Prepare / review month-end journal entries and general ledger account
reconciliations on an accurate and timely basis.
*Preparation and analysis of monthly financials for the Corporate
ledger.
*Preparation of various reports including share-based compensation and
debt.
*Review and approval of Corporate accounts payable processing /
invoices.
*Assist in the preparation of various quarterly and year-end financial
reporting packages.
Assist in the preparation of Corporate budget and forecast schedules.
Various projects as assigned by Corporate Finance managers.
