Staff Accountant
A leading marketing firm in San Antonio seeks a Staff Accountant to be
responsible for all aspects of GL management as well as providing the
data and insight that the Sr. Team needs to continue our rapid,
sustained and profitable growth. Successful execution will involve
reducing receivable cycles and carefully maintaining dashboards that
enhance organization-wide awareness of Key Performance Indicators.
You will maintain accurate and timely financial records and will
understand how to diligently, yet tactfully, hold each person in the
organization accountable for the same. You will be the only person in
the Accounting function, so you must relish the opportunity to be a
finance team of one.

Responsibilities:
=95        Improve processes around billing and revenue recognition across all
customers
=95        Identify greatest opportunities for realizing cost savings
=95        Benchmark fixed and variable costs within all operating expenses
=95        Manage all aspects of the GL, including completion of a full audit
and presentation of results within the first 90 days of employment
=95        Manage all tax reporting
=95        Recommend and implement processes to increase financial accuracy of
and the speed at which the monthly books can be closed
=95        Increase communication between Accounting and Operations
=95        Meet quarterly with departmental leadership to review and present
budget vs. actual expense analysis that includes trending and
forecasting data

Requirements:
=95        Requires Bachelor=92s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
=95        Minimum of 3 years accounting experience with proven ability to
improve accounting processes and financial reporting
=95        Proven experience managing the GL
=95        Tax reporting experience
=95        Superior attention to detail and zealous commitment to 100% accuracy
of data
=95        Experience presenting financial data and financial analysis to
senior management team
