Hello,
Just two questions to those of you who are expert in this:
I've been reading about the Balanced score card and related management
control issues, etc.
And I was wondering if anyone can help me in answering the following
two questions, first is about BSC, seocnd about the emergent
perspective in strategy
1. What deficiencies in traditional performance measures does the
balanced scorecard seek to
remedy? How has it evolved since it was first described over a decade
ago?
Why is it so popular? What factors are likely to condition its
effectiveness in practice?

2.What insights arise from the 'emergent process' perspective in
strategy and control systems research? What roles might control
systems play in organisational change and adaptation?

Thanks lots!!!!
Jess
