Pfizer Global Research & Development (PGRD), the largest research-
based biomedical and pharmaceutical company in the world, is currently
seeking a Site Controller in the La Jolla, CA facility.
This is an extremely unique opportunity with multifaceted financial &
operational responsibilities at a research-focused business unit
within the largest pharmaceutical company in the world. Reporting to
the office of the Chief Financial Officer of Pfizer's Biotherapeutics
and Bioinnovation Center (BBC), the Site Controller is responsible for
all financial accounting & site management responsibilities for CovX
Research LLC, including, but not limited to: financial accounting,
budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, internal controls,
procurement and facilities.
In this role, you will manage the accounting/finance, procurement and
site operations functions; deliver monthly, quarterly and annual
financial information (including variance analysis) to senior
management; maintain financial books & records; manage internal
budgeting process, including establishing budgets, creating/reviewing
department & company-wide variance reports.
