Hello,

I am troubleshooting a problem I am having with CSV Customer/Sales
import into Peachtree.

The problem I am having is that the tax and shipping charges(freight)
are not importing properly from the Sales CSV import.

We are in California, so we do charge tax on CA orders. We do not
charge tax on out of state orders.

Our shipping charges do not import at all and show up as zero for both
in state and out of state orders.

If the order is an in state (CA) order, the tax and the shipping
charges get combined (added together) and show up in the tax field
after CSV import in Peachtree. The shipping field shows up as zero
after CSV import in Peachtree.

If the order is an out of state order, after CSV import, the shipping
charge shows up in the tax field and the shipping field is zero.

Below is an example of the Sales CSV we use for importing.

SALES JOURNAL TEMPLATE COLUMNS(32), note (R) = Required Field:

Customer ID(R), Invoice/CM,Date(R), Ship By, Ship to Name, Ship to
Address Line 1, Ship to Address Line 2, Ship to City, Ship to State,
Ship to Zip, Ship to Country, Customer PO, Ship Via, Ship Date, Date
Due(R), Displayed Terms, Sales Representitive ID, Accounts Receivable

Distribution[numeric](R), Quantity, Item ID, Serial Number(R),
Description, G/L Account(R), Unit Price, Tax Type(R), Amount(R), Sales
Tax Authority(R), Credit Memo, Voided by Transaction(R)

The CSV lines do have charges for both tax and shipping but these get
mangled on import of the CSV.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Thom
