Also you can download the free Data Checker for Peachtree at

This application will scan your Peachtree data files for physical damage
and display a printable report of its findings.
A similar tool that scans your Peachtree backup files is included in the
MWToolkitForPT demo kit at
www.multiwareinc.com/DownloadToolkit.html
This tool is useful to determine if your backups are ok. Even though the
MWToolkitForPT has a time limitation, the data checking tool does not
expire.
