Will it affect my data?

I need to remove it and reinstall it. I can't do a repair - it won't
let me.

I'm concerned for custom reports and fixed assets.

Yes, I've made backups.

Right now, for some reason, most of my reports are gone. I need to
get the ones back on that come with the program.

Shouldn't be a problem. I recently had to reinstall Windows XP from
scratch on my machine, and Peachtree is running just fine with all my
data restored.
