I have a PT 2007 install on our Win 2003 Std R2 server with just the
Server Components and then the client on workstations. The problem is
that the server hangs (and it didn't start this until installing the PT
2007 server components) a couple times a week. If I leave the pervasive
DB stopped the server runs fine.
I would like to install the Server components on a dedicated
workstation, but I want the company files on a network share mapped to
the server for backups and permissions. The setup does not allow the
company files to be installed/places anywhere except the LOCAL drive.
If I run in Peer-Peer mode can I map the company files to the server
share?
I don't want PT 2007 on my server any more.
