Peachtree 2006 premium - same inventory item in multiple locations

I have the same inventory items in different locations. Currently I am
having to assign each item a different ID number so the location can be
tracked. Is there a way to have one ID number for inventory items in
different locations? I'd like to be able to see the totals on one item,
rather than having to tally up the total for the item in the different
locations.

Peachtree does not suport multi-site inventory.
You might be able to use item attribute sets to achieve some measure of
that.
