Peachtree PO Form Starke 06-08-2007

I have 3 peachtree workstations. Two of which are working fine. The
3rd station does not contain a form that I need. I thought when I
opened up a company all forms and everything would be opened. Is
there another step I need to do to import the forms. What is
happening is when the user is going to print a PO, there are only two
options for the forms generic and another options. The two other
computers have custom forms setup to choose from which contain our
company name. Any thoughts, I dont have the manual right now and
tried a google search and nothing.

Thanks,

Dave

Custom Forms are saved in the [C:Program FilesPeachForms] on your
hard drive of each machine.

Depending on how you installed the PT on the 3rd machine, it may not
have grabbed these files. This may happen for instance if you do a
standard not network install or use the wrong data folder to begin
with.

In any case, go to a machine with the correct form:

Open the form in design
Save the form and not the file name and location such as : [C:
SharedPeachFormsPO00000.FRM]
Then use Windows Explorer/File Manager to copy this file from that
folder to the related folder on the 3rd machine. Make sure you don't
have a file by that name first, otherwise just re-name it to
PO00001.frm or whatever.

You can email it to the 3rd machine, use the C$ access if you have it
or drop to the "shared" folder on the other machine and copy locally
from that machine.

The forms should be stored in only one place and that is on the server, in
the Forms folder which is parallel to your company data folders. If your
data path is setup incorrectly on the workstations so they don't point to
the right place, PT cannot see your forms.
