Peachtree customer data folders modification date changes un explainably

Hello All,
We have PT 2K4, 5, &6 installed on workstations, and on a Win 2K3 SBS.
The workstations connect to the customers data on shared drive to the
server. For some reason the modification dates on the directories for
the customers data is the same, but we know we have not accesed all the
customers data files on the same day.There is no data change. Is there
a sync function, or some thing in PT that would explain this behavior.
(file & dir modification date changes unexplainably?

Any scheduled tasks - something like a full-system A/V scan perhaps?
