On Monday, Intuit will announce that QuickBooks Simple Start Edition 2008 will be available free. The previous version of the software cost U.S.$99.95. This will kick off a major marketing campaign "Just Start," which features a $50,000 grand prize to help someone start a business. The software can be downloaded free at www.IWillJustStart.com. No official word yet whether Intuit Canada will follow suit for the equivalent product (EasyStart), When replying, please remove from the email address.
