I would like to add the email address to an existing RMS report. If I open
up another report in typepad, copy the code for the email address field and
insert it into the report (target) I want to run - will that do the job? I
thought I could copy the target report first before I made any changes, but
when I go back to store manager and open up the list of reports that new one
does not show up on the list. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Be sure to name your custom report with the proper name sytax. Here is an
example of a customized report I created "Custom - Summary Sales Report.qrp".
You must use the word "custom" with the dash. Save your custom report in
the Reports folder you are pathed to in Administrator-Paths. You may have to
restart RMS manager before you try to run your custom report. Open RMS
manager and go to reports-Custom, you should find it there.

Ed: Thanks for your reply. If I understand correctly, I will
1. Copy the report I want to mirror and rename it Custom -
CustomerListNew.qrp
2. Open another report that contains the field I wish to add
3. Copy the code and place it in the CustomerListNew report.
4. Save the new report in the same folder as the original
5. Restart RMS
6. Hopefully find the new report when I go to Reports, Custom

Hope I got it right,
Thanks, Pat

The easier way would be to open the report you want to modify add the
sections you need and save the report as a different name.

Keep in mind if the query at the top of the report doesnt match the info you
are trying to get it will not work.
