Hi

When I tender a sale in POS I receive the following error message
"Attempt To Execute Com Object 'RSNPOSML.HUMA' Failed, Could Not
Create Object".

I was wondering if anyone could explain to me what this error message
refers to and is there any way of rectifying the problem?

I am using RMS version 1.2 SP3

Thanks in advance

Hi Leepeach,

It seems to me that you previously installed an rms add-ons or customization
on your rms installation but the .dll file in your rms folder has been
removed. You are receiving error because your hooks in your registry is
looking for this .dll file. To fix this, you neet to go to rms registry and
make sure the hooks are set to "0". This will prevent the hook from searching
the missing .dll file when you tender. I hope this solves your issue. Thank
you!

That was almost helpful. Except, what happens if you want to run an addin hook?

That was almost the same question, except exactly the opposite.

Third party add-ins should come with an installer that handles their
setup and edits the Windows Registry to enable them.

If you are trying to create your own add-in, you have a lot of
information to gather. Start out by searching this newsgroup using
Google Groups - they have history going back at least three years (MS
purges the main server every 90 days). There have been many posts over
that time that will help you with setting up your add-in. After that,
post back with specific questions and maybe someone will be able to help.
