I was wondering how you would access/close a batch if, for example, the
register became disabled for whatever reason...

I know you can 'enter closing amts' from the Manager under Journal, Update
Batch Info, but is this the same as actually 'closing' the batch?

thanks,

Robert Gross

Robert,

If you have a computer acting as a server with the db on the server, then
you can open the POS on the server and close the batch that way. If you have
more than 1 lane you will need to assign the server in Store Admin with the
correct Register Number.
In order to close the batch in the Manager you need to perform a Blind
Closeout in the Register first.
