Hi

I am using STAR TSP100 and testing with a cash drawer that doesnt have a the
cable (my cousin who is the original owner lost it)

Does anyone know what cable should I get so i can get the cash drawer
working

I tried using phone cable with 2 or 4 connector but both failed to make the
drawer open.
Drawer is not in locked position. brandname Eutron

rgds,
Joie

You will probably need to get the cable from Star or the cash drawer
manufacturer. That's where I would start looking.

try a 6-pin serial cable. phone cables usually don't work because they are
reversed pair instead of straight through connection.

Eutron is a basically a no-name Chinese produced POS equipment manufacturing
company. As such, there isn't a lot of compatability documentation. I
wasn't able to find if Eutron emulated APG, MMF, or MSCashdrawer, etc...
You could try the standard cables from Star to all of the cash drawers that
they have but that would get expensive both in money and time. You may be
better off just buying a new cash drawer with a cable compatable for a star
tsp100 for $100 off the internet. Geminicomputers.com is very reasonable.

go to ebay and buy the cable, is easy . you can make it if by yourself, but
its cheaper if you order it.
