I am getting my RMS v2.0 next week
I dont want my cash register to open everytime I print "Duplicate" receipt

Should i connect my cash drawer via printer or should i connect it only
durect to my PC/terminal?

Any idea for reliable cash Drawer and thermal printer
What are the preferred interface for cash drawer and printers ? Must they
all be USB?

For cash drawer I am thinking Possiflex Intergra CR4000series. The one
available near my location is using Serial interface, is this OK for cash
drawer ?

For thermal printer is either Epson TM T88IV or Samsung Bixolon SP350 plus

Any advise ?

Thank you in advance,
Joie

The Star TSP100 is great. I have two of them at two differnt stores and I
will be replacing the rest of the stores with that printer. Its funny the
cashiers can pick which reg they are on each day and they all want to be on
the reg. with the tsp100 on it.

The Microstar TSP100 USB is perfect. The Epson TMT88IV is very good too.

Do not use Posiflex Aura 7000, the OPOS Driver does not work well with RMS.

I would go with the Drawer connected to the printer.

If i connect a drawer to printer. WIll it open if i configure the receipt is
to be printed after asking a cashier and the cashier chooses No

This is for the case where customer doesnt really need a receipt for an
igsinificant item for example giftwrapping service. I want to save my paper
since the printer will journal the receipt

thank you
