Hi all, our third-party consultants who are implementing RMS for us advise
that uploading historic sales data to RMS is a very onerous task.
Does anyone here disagree? Does anyone here have experience of doing so?
What are the key points to bear in mind if so?

Trader,

I agree with them, its a royal pain in the butt and can be _very_ =
expensive to do, if even possible. Different programs retain different =
information that may not be conducive to even attempt it.

Jeff,
What if one transaction was posted per week or month? would that still be an
expensive undertaking?

This might be a dumb question, but who would need a POS system if they only
did one transaction a week or a month?

Baf,

Its not the amount of data, its writing the link in the first place. =
Once the link is written, you could transfer 1 or a million =
transactions, well, QB doesn't handle a million, but you get the idea!

Look through here on the MS Solution Finder for RMS add-ons and see if =
someone has already written one;
http://www.microsoft.com/dynamics/solutionfinder.mspx

I don't know if she's done it, but try contacting Jean @ =
JeanHolland.com
