Does anyone know if the version of Crystal Reports matters? We're making
some reports from Crystal and we're evaluating the CR 2008 (which is version
12.0). The report runs great, but when trying to run it via the RMS Crystal
Reports option, it doesn't work. The options, sorts, filters, etc are all
grayed out and if we try to generate it, we get the error about the activeX
control can't run the object.

I'm wondering if perhaps the 12.0 version is too new to be run from within
RMS? Any help is much appreciated. Best regards.

Eric - I believe that last supported crystal version was version 8 - these
are the only crystal reports that you could actually run from within RMS -
you'll need to run your version 12 crystal reports from within crystal - I
think the crystal reports option is a carryover from the quicksell days (I
may be wrong on this) - and MS never really continued developing this feature
thinking RMS users would flock to reporting services or some other MS
reporting tool....
