Custom Buttons and Internal Command questions Manny 06-20-2006

Hi! I created a button using SelectCustomer and the customer lists opens (as
if I had pressed F7), but when I select a customer the window dissappears
and no customer has been selected. Also, 2) I need to create 2 buttons for
items that are very common for me beer deposits and lottery payout, and
these can very in large amounts. I created one, but if I do 52 X (52 times)
and then press the custom button it disregards the 52 X and just gives me
the 1 that I gave it after PerformAddItem etc. Any way that this can be
worked around. Right now I have created a separted code that I scan after
doing say 100X, but it is annoying. A custom button would work great.
Running 1.2 and have not yet upgraded to 1.3 since I am waiting for 1.3R.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Manny

Manny,

Have you ever recorded a macro?

You can download a free add-in called AltKeys from my personal homepage:
http://homepage.mac.com/tomncora/FileSharing10.html

You can record up to 12 macros and trigger them with custom buttons.

I'm not sure if this will solve your problem or not, but it's worth a shot.
If you can enter 52X then type the Item Lookup Code, your macro could be as
simple as typing the ILC.

Good luck,
Tom
