 What is the best way to decrease the database size without getting rid of
your sales history? My reseller suggested I remove the old journals (gif
files) but I'm not sure how to do this. Please help!!

Old journals, record deleted log and with shrink of database log..

Anotinio,

Is the table RecordDeletedLog just a log and has no cirtical relation to RMS
functions. I would like to clean some older records out, but I want to be
sure.

What is the point of that table? audit?

The RecordDeletedLog isn't used from RMS.. only from delete TRIGGER (and
the trigger isn't on all tables!).

The record into 'RecordDeletedLog' aren't sufficient for audit process,
but it can be useful when a "rms administrator" need to verify the
integrity of data (? the words are correct??)

From 1.2.x RMS release.. when the user remove an item.. RMS set a
*FLAG* into item data without delete it from database.
