Ben,

You can't, MSPOS doesn't support backorders, layaways, work orders, or
quotes like RMS does.

Do you know about ad on to do this or upgrade to MS RMS , can I transfer
MSPOS data base to MS RMS ?

Ben,

Haven't heard of any and I doubt anyone would do it. That's why RMS exists,
more features, so you would have to upgrade.

Nothing official from MS yet to transfer the info. Afshin from Retail Realm
posted recently they had a transfer program from MSPOS to RMS. Try him at
afshin@retailrealm.co.uk

Deposit is applied for order or layaway only. It can be automatically set
up by go to ordering tab in store manager configuration. However you can
overide this amount of deposit by going to detail button on POS.
