Hello,
Could any Microsoft Dynamics partner contact me to advise regarding POS
2009? I was ready to go ahead with RMS until learning about this imminent
update.

Many Thanks,

POS2009 is expected to be released after July 09, RMS will be continued to
be sold for a year afterwards(about). POS2009 in its begining will NOT be
multistore capable. Hince RMS continuation.

There are many many many changes from RMS to the new POS2009 Some good some
bad.

Can you go over some of the good and bad changes?

Does it finally have the frequently requested (according to MS) floating
cashier capability?

Maurice,

Could you please tell us the source of your information? We are an RMS
reseller and POS 2009 beta tester, and we have not been notified through any
of the usual Microsoft channels of any release date. The general
undertstanding after Convergence was that it was slated to be released at the
end of the 2nd quarter, but the rumor mill tends to be somewhat unreliable
without concrete information from Microsoft. If the date has slipped beyond
that, it would be useful information for customers and partners alike.
