Somehow in One (out of three) Store Ops 1.3, I have created duplicate items
for about 50 products. They have the same Item Number, Supplier, everything.
I know that it is unwise to delete products especially when they have some
movement history as some of these do. So I made the items inactive, cannot
be placed on PO, and blocked sales. But they still show up on my Physical
Inventory, and I am afraid counts are going to be misplaced.

Any suggestions how to correct this properly? Thanks.

If you have access to CustomerSource, there's a KB article that includes a
set of queries that will merge the item histories, etc. so you can delete the
unwanted duplicate.

Steve,

Check to see if both items have the same internal ID number. If so, you may
have database corruption issues.
