Hi, from time to time I have this problem with some of my clients: in the
detailed sales report Appears a transaction that was not made it in the POS.
Look slike sometime RMS duplicate a transaction under certain conditions.
Does anyone had the same problem? Rgds Rodrigo

No, never heard of this. You might try adding the Batch, Register and
Transaction Number fields to the report (using Show/Hide Columns) - Maybe
the transaction is from a different register or batch. Also, if you add the
Transaction Number, you can click on it in the report and it will open the
Journal Viewer which may help you track down what happened.

Are you using any Add-ins? I can't think of any way to get RMS to duplicate
a transaction without an add-in or SQL Trigger.

Are you sure that there is actually a duplicate record of the transaction in
the database, or does it just appear that there is a duplicate transaction
when you run a report? When you are looking at the duplicate transaction on
your report is everything exactly the same, meaning does it have the same
transactionnumber, etc., as the original transaction?

Also, is this one of RMS's original uncustomized reports or have you
customized it at all?

If it's a customized report, the SQL query used by the report could be the
culprit if it contains a join. Sometimes if a JOIN isn't set up properly it
can end up returning duplicate records in your report. Hard to say without
knowing a little bit more. Hope you get it straightened out.

I get kind of the same problem we have 4 different stores and we use a
specific department for each one of the stores and I tried running a report
from HQ and it shows duplicate totals in a different department however all
the totals showing in the incorrect department have the same transaction
numbers as the correct one. If I run the report from Store Manager then I
only see the correct sales no duplicates.
