Editing Receipt formats

If you stare at it long enough, it'll start to make some sense. Always work on a copy - not the actual file you're using. Rename the copy. Change the name within the XML code so it's easily identifiable from SO Mgr. I am not aware of any WYSIWYG XML editors. The Receipt Template is in the Store OperationsReceiptTemplates directory. Each station looks for Receipt Templates in whichever directory is specified in the Store Ops Admin Configuration for that station. I don't know about others, but my server's Store Operations directory is shared and mapped as a network drive on each PC. This way, if I change a receipt template, all of the systems are looking at the same file. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? There are a couple of things i want to do though - 1) Our ILC is the barcode of the item, which takes up a lot of the receipt space and isnt really relevant to our customer, so i'd like to remove that. 2) Our descriptions can be extremely long as we sell plants with varieties etc, i'd like to force pos to use 2 lines of a receipt to fit all the description in.
