We have set re order points for items at the store level and can gerate POs
at the store level based on this reorder info.

Is it possible to generate PO's for slected stores from HQ based on a stores
reorder info. Thus far I cannot figure out how to do this and it is really
frustrating as we would like all ordering to be done at the HQ level.

Thanks,
Matt

I have figured out that I can achieve this by selcecting "create a p.o. based
on supplier"

One question is if different stores have different restocking levels does HQ
recognize this?

Thanks,
Matt

Ok So now i am encountering this problem when i go to generate a p.o based on
re order info in HQ

First I select the store i would like to work with...

In that store:

Product A has a reorder point of 12 and a restock level of 48

Product B has a reorder point of 24 and a restock level of 96

Actual inventory for product A and B is 0 right now in that store and the
suppliers MQP and minimum order = 0 in both cases

In store ops when i create a p.o. based on reorder it orders 48 units of A
and 96 units of B which is correct

In HQ when i create the PO it orders 48 untis of Product A and 120 units of
product B.

Why is this? Could it be that HQ is trying to balance the inventory bewteen
all stores or am i missing something?

Thanks
Matt

Check the MPQ for the item for that supplier in HQ - it may be different
than what was set at the store.
