Looking to use Gift Cards across our POS, catalog, and web site orders. Does
anyone have a possible solution for allowing the customer to purchase a gift
card at one source (say, the website) and allowing them to use it in the
retail store? Or, purchase in the retail store (RMS POS) and use it on the
website?

Hey Jeff,

We started with catalog sales; moved on to selling via the web; and now are
opening retail stores. The catalog, web sales, warehousing run off another
system which "talks" to RMS (two way communication). We'd like to sell/redeem
gift cards at any/all of our sales channels. I am looking for a solution that
would perhaps extract voucher information to a file for populating the other
system and, in return, takes information from the other systems and populates
RMS. Not the best way to do this but this is what I am challenged with doing.

Any thoughts?

Luminox,

Then you might try Givex www.givex.com as there is nothing stored on the =
local system as I remember, everything in done over the Internet. They =
do have an add-on for RMS and may be able to handle this situation for =
you.
