That can't be done - the number is not assigned until the order is first
tendered. OK, I guess that it could be done for a work order that's
being edited...
The Status window is just HTML and can be customized to show quite a
bit. I suspect that you might do better with an add-in that generates a
reference number than using the actual workorder number, but you should
talk to your reseller about this.
