I have a golf store that rents out demo clubs for $20, when they bring it
back they can credit the $20 to there purchase. Is there a good way to track
this so at any given time they can know exactly who has got what club. I
have yet to find the best way to do this.

Any thoughts?

I would be interested in this as well. I am in a similar situation where I
rent out demos and I credit any demo fees (set up as some sort of voucher?)
toward a purchase of certain items. I also need to be able to set up certain
items as 'demo items' to keep track of them. Some reporting capability would
be nice like a daily list of who has what demo items and for how long, and
what items are demoed most often. The ability to charge late fees is also
necessary. I also need to know who has what demo item at any given time thru
item history.
