Please log in for more thread options That's still not going to get him logged into Windows though - you have to
be logged in before the Start menu is available.
There may be some third party utilities out there that will display an
onscreen keyboard for Logon. There may be a way to get the Windows On Screen
Keyboard to launch automatically, but a quick Google search just sort of
hinted at it - you'd have to dig a lot deeper to get it working.
If all else fails, you could get a copy of Windows XP Tablet Edition and
install it - it automatically displays it's own onscreen keyboard at Login
(this is a differnt keyboard than the one under Accessories/Accessibility).
