Hello,

I have a Store Database that is doing a physical inventory. I suspect that
they sometimes create new items in the Store level, instead of the HQ level.
Also, their inventory count is most probably off.

In SOM, I did a physical inventory with "Update Matching Items and add new
items" and "Replace Existing Count".

Then in HQM I ran worksheet 501 and connect HQ client, then Task 190 and
connect HQ client.

I would like to confirm of what I just did;
1. Is the inventory count now matched according to the Store physical count?
2. For items that were created in the Store level, are they now in the HQ
database?

Hi DanielSie....first you need to remove the ability to create new items at
the store level using security; it seems like your 501 worksheet and task 190
steps are correct, as long as you did the 501 immediately after you committed
the physical inventory counts at the store; your store qties should match
your HQ qties (run an on hand report at both locations, they should match);
on your last point, the items that were created at store level are not now in
the HQ database (they have no HQ id) - there's a KB you can download from
customersource that explains how to resolve this issue...hope this helps
