Is there a way to encode function key into a bar code.
I would like to encode F7 (set customer ) into the customers card, this way
the cashier only has to scan the card and not worry about pressing any keys.
Than ks

Hi Robert,

Donno if this is possible, encoding "Set Customer" into the Customer Card,
but what you can do is, knowing the encoded values (let say the first 5
digits, and after the Customer AccountNumber), make a small dll that will be
hooked up before the Transaction submit that will pop-up, for reading the
customer card and will set up the Customer automatically after "reading" the
card...

OK, this is just an idea... hope it helps...

Best regards, A.
