Im using HQ and Store Operation.
I plan to still keep my existing DB and put it to idle which has messed up
quantities and to newly setup with the new Barcode format in a new DB. What
do i do with the existing db and what shud b my next step to create d new DB?

Use the Admin app and create a backup of your database.

More over, all you have to do is create a new DB with a diffrent name and
point to the new name.
