In my very personal opinion, the loyalty program must be treated
fundamentally by Microsoft, either by
a) leaving the ready to customize tool
b) the necessary structure for addon developpers considering the following
point.
If one of the greatest administrative advantage of using POS / RMS is the
almost real time sales <--> accounting automation, this may start loosing the
reliability because of a lack of structure or a poorly made Loyalty addon.
If your accounting is not updated with this "kind of debt" you have toward
your customers/clients which is the value of the point you owe them, you may
end with some messy situation in your supposedly automated relationship
between sales & accountg and the need to followup the loyalty process
manually with all the implications of doing it so. (time, errors, etc..)
