MS POS System Requirements

Can someone clarify system requirements for the new POS system please?

Overview page says 'Windows XP Pro SP2, Windows Server 2003'. Is it a
client/server system which requires XP Pro SP2 on the clients and a W2K3
server for some kind of central admin/datastore? Or does this software
simply run on either of the OS' listed?

It runs on XP pro SP2 do not need anything else will run on peer to peer
doesn't need server anything.
