Hello,
I am just wondering if anyone is actually using Mercury with RMS, and what
the feedback is? Are the transactions fast when done via internet
connection? Is the Add-On easy to instal and set up? Anything that you can
tell me about this processor I would greatly appreciate as I am considering
going with them, but I have a pretty good rate with my current provider, and
just a bit skeptical to make the leap (my current provider is not linked to
RMS).

Vince:

We just set up RMS with Mercury. Our POS Vendor installed the Add-on (I
guess). In any case, transactions are very fast. Mercury matched our original
quote from our bank (which was lower than Mercury's initial quote), so they
negotiate a bit.
One thing I am not wild about is their online reporting. It is not as user
friendly/intuitive as some.

From what we were told, you definately want a provider that works with RMS.

Hope this helps.

Tim

We have setup a dozen or so stores with Mercury and have got nothing but
great feedback on their solution. Especially as they also include Gift Cards
that can integrate in a Multi store environment, very few can say that.
Setup is quite simple and if you run into trouble Mercury can help you set
it up. Where as with most banks they have never even heard of MS RMS.

My conern is that my RMS specialist doesn't live near me. I did it all over
the phone, with my brothers help...whom is very good at figuring computer
programs out. I was wondering if Mercury helps to instal RMS and also
support any issues that may come up in regards to CC Processing?

They have a very friendly and knowledgable staff and 24 hour emergency tech
support.
We do all our support remotely as we have clients all over NA, so your RMS
Partner IF NEED BE should be able to connect to your machine and help you get
started. It is not hard to setup at all, Mercury gives you detailed step by
step instructions.
