Please log in for more thread options We experienced problem with the detection of that printer. We are on VISTA
and the UAC was on (it's a network policy).
When we turned it off, RMS was then able to detec and use it correctly. What
is weird, though, is that Group Piliciy enforced the UAC again later on but
the printer and cash drawer were still functionning properly.
My take on this is that you must take UAC OFF for the first use of the
printer / cash drawer. Then RMS detects it (I guess) After that you can turn
it back ON.
