Please log in for more thread options
The configuration options set in SO Adminstrator are stored in the
registry and are local to each register (or workstation). You need to
log in to windows as an administrator for these to be stored, unless you
have previously granted modify permissions to the RMS registry key to
other users.
The configuration options set in SO Manager are stored in the database
and are global to the store.
The screen settings (CTRL-F6) in POS are stored in the registry and are
local, but as far as I know those are the only local settings controlled
by POS - everything else is either global or set per register in SO Manager.
For a single store, setting the "Share the OPOS printer" setting once
will affect all registers once they have been restarted.
For HQ, if you make that setting in your template database it should
carry forward to all stores that are exported using the template in the
future...
