When the register goes off line, the original batch gets blind closed.
When the register comes back on line, its sales are uploaded into a new
batch.
Your z-report does not match daily sales because there are multiple
batches for that day. Go into SO Manager and look at Journal menu. You
can view batches from here, and you should be able to find the ones that
are blind closed pretty easily. select a blind closed batch, then you
can update the batch information by entering opening & closing totals
and running X & Z reports. This is all from Manager - POS just works on
the current batch...
