After a system has gone into offline mode we have seen the following and
suggest the below:
System comes back online and prompts user if they want to sync the offline
transactions. User selects yes and all appears to go as designed. However
we have seen that upone opening Manger to close the Blind close there is NO
data in the primary database from the offline transations even though all
indicators say that it has. A check of the offline database reveals that all
data that was once there has been cleared out by RMS during the sync process.
To help guard against the loss of data as we have experienced, we suggest
that prior to the Offline database attempting to sync that a local backup of
the defined Offline database is automatically generated on the local machine.
With this backup we can still recover the transactions if for whatever
reason they do not sync into the primary database.
