Please log in for more thread options we have case skus for the few items we sell by the case. Mostly we keep the
individual item sku in the system. When someone buys a case, we just give a
% discount. As for the reorder on the PO. We put the individual item set
for reorder points of the individual, knowing there are 12 or 24 per case.
we set the min order to 1 and the master pack quantity to whatever the case
count is. When you put the same reorder number in the individual supplier
reorder number, it will automatically generate the proper quantities to
update your inventory.
At the same time, we have 187's of wine, that come in four packs and in a
case. These hit our system as four packs and as singles. We sell them
mainly as singles, so that is how we choose what to watch for inventory
levels.
hope this helps.
