Somehow one of my employees has inadvertantly change the sequence of the
automated purchase order numbers. The sequence matches too closely with
another locations number sequence. How can I alter or set a new number
sequence to stop this.

Blueindian,

You will have to change it with a SQL script.

Make a note of the PO number you wish to change.

Make a backup!

Instructions for a Single store operation;

Go into SO Administrator | File | Connect | put in your password | Query =
| New and type the following;

UPDATE PurchaseOrder SET PONumber =3D xxx WHERE PONumber =3D yyy AND =
POType =3D 0=20
xxx is the new number yyy is the old one
