Anyone know how to make Purcahse Order work if I set the Restock Level and
Reorder Point both to 1? Actually, I tried different numbers and the PO just
doesn't get generated for some reason. Is there a setting I am forgetting?

Restock Level is not the number to buy, it is the quantity you want your
inventory to be AFTER the purchase.
If you have Reorder Point = 1 and Restock Level = 1, the system does not
need to order the item to get to it's restock level. When the quantity
on hand drops to zero, the item should be added for a quantity of one.

If you want to order 1 unit when the on hand reaches 1, set the restock
level to 2...

Glenn,
what if I want the POS to generate a PO for 1 item when my stock is 0. In
other words, if the last item just got sold and I want to generate a PO then
I would like the system to print out an order for 1 item to have just 1 in
stock. What should I do then?

Glenn,
by the way, I tried your suggestion and it still did not generate any POs.
In fact I tried even putting restock level to 5 and increased and played with
different numbers and still nothing happens... Could this be some kind of
setting or is this a software error?

Glenn.... I figured out why my PO was not working. It's because none of my
thousands of items had their "supplier" chosen. Once I played around and
added a supplier to some of my items, the PO was working fine.

As a foollowup question, is there any quick way of adding in the supplier
information into groups of items that are offered by this supplier? I just
don't want to go through every individual item to click on them and set the
supplier...that would take forever.

Thanks for your help.
