I would like to know if it possible to create a PO by using supplier reorder
number? Any help on this would be appreciated.

DRS has the ability with either there Swat Search Tool or the AutoGen can't
remember which one.

not the right programs dude, as it creates an alias corresponding to the
reorder number. Do you know of a way I can creat a PO using the alias? Any
other suggestions?

You can add an item to the PO either using the ILC or the Alias. That is
what DRS's product is doing, when you enter an Alias it puts that
information into the Supplier's Reorder Number. So then you can create a PO
using the Supplier's Reorder Number.

Instead of buying the whole cow, you could create your own SQL Trigger that
would update the Supplier's Reorder Number from the Item's Alias.

Are you asking if you can add items to the PO based on SRN? If you have an
Alias that correspondes to the SRN, you can use the Quick Scan button on the
PO Contents tab to enter the alias...
