Does anyone know if customers with Microsoft RMS service plans will be
given free upgrades to the forthcoming POS 2009 when it is released?
Also, has anyone heard of an updated release date for the product
recently? I was told the summer but that was a few months ago.

The question is whether you woud want to? There are some features that are
left out of POS2009 tat are standard in RMS. So first get to knowth
eproduct well and see if what is there will meet the requirements.

Afshin,

What RMS 2.0 features will be dropped from POS 2009? I've been playing with
it for a few weeks, and I haven't seen any loss of functionality. The
interface is different, to be sure, but I don't think there's anything
missing, just may be in a different place.
