One way to set up your credit card tender is to do one for each type of card
you accept. For example when seting up a Master card you would go to the
verification tab and enter 5* in the validation box, Visa would be 4*, AX
would be 3* and Discover would be 6*. When you do a credit card transaction
and get to the tender screen you would pick the card type the customer gave
you then swipe the card and bingo the transaction is complete and will be
added to the total in your Z report for the proper card type also it will
print the card type on the receipt. If you select the wrong type of card from
the tender screen it will reject it and you will need to select the correct
one. All the seperate cards have their own beginning number as given above.
I've been doing this for several years and you can tell exactly how much
should be deposited to your bank account from each card company each day
without having to any calculations to find out each card company's daily
total.

Norm,
I would suggest using 4###############, that's a 4 with 15 #'s. If the =
swipe is incorrect, it might not capture all of the numbers on the card, =
where the above verifies that a card number that begins with a 4 and has =
15 numbers behind it is more accurate.
Unfortunately, that's not what Natt is after
