RMS Store Ops = Not Responding on Master Register? Ed 08-07-2008

Hello,

I have a store where the RMS Store Ops will not open up on the master
registers, but both the Slaves can see the database fine on master and can
function normally. It does not matter if you double click or right click and
select "open" the response is the same in Task Manager = Microsoft Store
Operation POS -- Not Responding.

I have try a repaired from Add/Remove Hardware, and everything else seem
fine. I am looking to head to the store to re-load the RMS software from the
CD-ROM or moving the database to a replacement PC.

Has anyone else encounter this problem before? How did you fix it?

Ed

Todd,

It ended up being a dongle issue, where the dongle had to be re-install then
RMS Store Ops on the master open fine, while the two slaves never were
effected. I guess someone select "No" when it said it could not find the
key, instead of; "Yes" to continue then for RMS would not go back into RMS
till the key was re-install, but I am not sure why the two slaves would be
doing the same thing?
