Receipt Format

I need to format a receipt that is printed to a second printer in a
QuickService area of a kitchen printer. I need the format to include the
ticket number, and item descriptions only. I do not want store info, item
code, price info, totals. Simply item descrition, quantity and ticket number.
Is this possible?

Yes, it is possible. At least it is in RMS, I'm not sure about MSPOS.

You simply create a receipt template that meets your needs - downloading
the Gift Receipt template from CustomerSource will get you about 80% of the
way there. Then you create a new Receipt Format from that template and
configure Printer2 to use this format in Register Properties.

RMS isn't best suited for restaurant environments, but it can do what you
are asking for.

Thank you for the advice! I'll give it a try a spin.. The client is
convienance store with a quick service kitchen, liquor and butcher shop.
Pretty unique I guess.
